HUMANITARIAN  AND  CULTURAL  TRIPS

OUR  CULTURAL  AND  HUMANITARIAN  TRIPS.

Our cultural trips are activities that aim the discovery of the cultural and natural wealth of Morocco and, at the same time, giving the association's support and aid to the areas visited according to the means the association has during every trip.
The support we provide is manifested within the framework of civil society, benefiting other associations that share the same interests as our organization, such as those focused on childhood and women, or cooperatives that work on income-generating activities in rural areas.
This support may also take the form of direct assistance to poor families headed by widows or women in difficult situations.
Such support consists of providing essential means to improve the daily lives of these groups, according to the specific needs of the target population.
These trips are managed by the members of the association but they are open to the participation of everyone wishing to take part in them within the number of seats available in every trip.
For every trip, there is a specific program, showing the stages through which the trip is done and the different activities included in it, that you can get by contacting us by email.

BENEFICIARIES OF OUR HUMANITARIAN AND CULTURAL TRIPS

THE  ASSOCIATIONS

ASSOCIATION OF THE CHILD IN A DIFFICULT IN SITUATION.

Since we represent civil society, it is essential to cooperate among its institutions.
Association companions, in turn, provides assistance in the form of clothing, infant milk, children’s toys, blankets, and we contribute to paying water and electricity bills... for the benefit of an association that cares for children in difficult situations in the city of Ouarzazate.
All of this is made possible thanks to the proceeds from the solidarity and cultural trips organized by our association and the donations from our volunteers from all over the world, who hand over their contributions directly, hand in hand

ASSOCIATION OF DEAF AND HARD OF HEARING CHILDREN.

Since it is one of the few associations in the southeastern region of Morocco that cares for deaf and hard of hearing children, this center, as the only institution dedicated to educating these children, strives to meet the needs and requirements of its residents, most of whom come from poor families. Therefore, the Association companions decided to establish a partnership with this organization to unify their efforts in providing suitable conditions for the education of this segment of society.
The assistance we offer includes: hearing aids, clothing, school supplies, and medical glasses.
These contributions come from part of the funds we generate from our solidarity and cultural trips, which our volunteers directly deliver to these children.

ASSOCIATION OF ABANDONED CHILDREN.

There are those who abandon you for an overwhelming reason, but destiny brings those who support and help you. This is what one of the associations in the city of Ouarzazate does, where the association cares for abandoned children by providing them with shelter, food, and all the necessities of life.
This center, which receives significant support from both the state and the community due to its tremendous efforts, inspired us to offer our assistance.
We do so by organizing regular visits with our volunteers during our solidarity and cultural trips to provide essential items for the children at the center, such as diapers, infant formula, clothing, and toys.
Our volunteers directly deliver these donations to the staff at the center.

THE COOPERATIVES.

WOMEN'S COOPERATIVES

Among the income-generating activities organized within the framework of women's cooperatives in the region, there are livestock breeding, the production of argan oil for both cosmetic and cooking purposes, the traditional production of couscous, and other activities. The association’s support for these cooperatives is reflected in providing the tools and resources that are part of the production chain for one of these women’s cooperatives, based on the association’s capabilities. Additionally, field visits are organized to these traditional cooperatives to introduce their products and learn about a stage in the production of a specific product. Thus, the association has directly contributed to supporting these women’s cooperatives in a spirit of solidarity.

YOUTH COOPERATIVES

One of the most important economic activities in southeastern Morocco is tourism, which contributes to the economy of the region and contributes to creating job opportunities for the population, and as an association concerned with solidarity tourism as a means of revitalizing the local economy and developing the region, especially on the social level, these solidarity and cultural trips contribute in a small way to moving the wheel of development in the region and contribute to the employment of young people, especially those who work in tourist guides, tourist transportation or hotel accommodation within the framework of youth cooperatives.

BENEFITS  FOR  VOLUNTEERS  DURING  THESE  TRIPS.

VISIT TO TOURIST SITES

In addition to helping others, volunteers on these solidarity and cultural trips will rediscover themselves by learning about Morocco geographically, historically and culturally under the guidance of a member of the association. As part of the overall program, we plan to visit several regions on a journey of more than 1,140 kilometers, during which we will explore the desert, river valleys, oases, kasbahs, and interact with local communities to get to know them intimately.
All of this is done within the framework of solidarity tourism.

PARTICIPATE IN LOCAL TRADITIONAL ACTIVITIES.

One of the things that our humanitarian and cultural trips provide for our volunteers is direct participation in the activities of the local population and mixing with them to get to know their daily routine closely, and these activities include agricultural activities in a traditional farm such as how to obtain some products by hand, or learning about traditional construction methods and trying to build for a few minutes in a traditional workshop, or contributing to the preparation of a Moroccan dish, and sometimes we are present and live moments of the folklore of a Moroccan wedding, or go to a Moroccan hammam to relax and then experience traditional dress .

DISCOVERING THE LIFESTYLES IN MOROCCO.

The diversity of peoples means the diversity of lifestyles. The Moroccan people, with their diverse ethnicities and races, have left patterns and lifestyles that differ according to their geography, and this is an opportunity to learn about the language and lifestyles of its inhabitants, whether in urban or rural areas, and the Humanitarian and Cultural Association trips allow you to discover this cultural diversity that mixes the culture of the indigenous Berber people of Morocco with the Arab culture that came from the East, and this mixing resulted in diversity in various material and non-material fields such as languages, traditions, architecture, lifestyles ... This is one of the rare opportunities that allow you to discover yourself by discovering the Moroccan people .
